ZZ Demo Test Post - Formatting Check (temporary)

How to Prepare for IELTS in 4 Weeks

This is a demo post created to check how content pasted from Microsoft Word looks on the live site. It mixes underlined text, bold italic, a link to our preparation page, lists, a table and a quote.

1. Understand the test format

The IELTS test has four sections. Plan your study time around each of them:

  • Listening – 30 minutes plus transfer time
  • Reading – 60 minutes, three passages
    • Academic: longer, more technical texts
    • General Training: everyday and workplace texts
  • Writing – two tasks in 60 minutes
  • Speaking – a short face-to-face conversation

2. Follow a weekly plan

  1. Week 1 – take a practice test and find your weak areas
  2. Week 2 – focus on Listening and Reading strategies
  3. Week 3 – practise Writing Task 1 and Task 2 with feedback
  4. Week 4 – full mock test and Speaking practice
